AEMO is developing a framework for how it will manage the land procurement and land use planning aspects of augmentations to the Declared Shared Network (DSN) in Victoria.

AEMO's Connecting Victoria: Transmission Project Development Protocol identifies AEMO’s role for different transmission augmentations, including new generator transmission connections, and identifies activities for which AEMO and the applicant are responsible. The policy also identifies the relevant government, industry and community stakeholders involved in augmentations, their activities, and AEMO's approach to stakeholder communication.
