Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the Delivery of Gas Demand Forecasting Services (2011-2013)

AEMO invites tenders from interested parties who have the capability to deliver Gas Demand Forecasts for  Eastern and South Eastern Australia and/or Gas Demand Forecasts for Victorian Declared Transmission System (DTS).
This tender contains two parts:

    Part I.    Delivery of Gas Demand Forecasts for Eastern and South Eastern Australia - 21 year annual gas demand and 11 year peak winter and summer gas demand forecasts  (excluding GPG demand and LNG demand) for Queensland, New South Wales (including Australian Capital Territory), Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

    Part II.   Delivery of Gas Demand Forecasts for Victorian Declared Transmission System (DTS) and by System Withdrawal Zone - 11 year annual system demand, 11 year peak day and peak hour gas system demand, monthly system demand and peak day and peak hour system demand for 2011 and 2012, 11 year GPG annual and peak day demand.

Tenderers are invited to submit their proposals for the delivery of the Part I and/or the Part II services.  The proposal should include:

  1. Description of analytical methodologies that you plan to employ in developing the gas demand projections described in Part I and/or Part II above.
  2. References regarding similar work.
  3. CV’s of personnel to be involved and roles relevant to this scope of work.  Also CV’s of any sub-consultant’s personnel.
  4. Description of any special confidentiality concerns.
  5. Cost quotation, with breakdown including work hours and rates for individual contributors, including breakdown of any third party or sub-consultant costs (The proposal shall be based on a capped maximum lump-sum price).

AEMO will provide economic forecasts, carbon forecasts and historical gas data where necessary for this work.
