Resignation of Ms Karen Moses as AEMO non-executive director
I wish to advise that Ms Karen Moses has tendered her resignation as a non-executive director of the AEMO Board due to the increased demands associated with her other commitments. This will take effect with the appointment of a new director.
Board and Executive search firm, Boomerang Board Consulting, has been retained to undertake the search for a new director. The Appointments Selection Panel will make a recommendation to members via the Board in accordance with AEMO’s Constitution.
A Special General Meeting will be held for Members to consider the appointment of the new non-executive director. The candidate is to be recommended to the Standing Council on Energy and Resources for formal appointment.
As a founding director of AEMO, Ms Moses has made an exceptional contribution to the AEMO Board. I would like to thank Karen for her efforts and to wish her all the best for the future.
