The Short Term Trading Market (STTM) is a market-based wholesale gas balancing mechanism established at defined gas hubs in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.  

This is the ideal course for newcomers to the Short Term Trading Market (STTM) as this one day workshop aims to provide attendees with a basic yet broad understanding of how this market works. It is also suited to current employees looking to expand their general knowledge of this market.

The course covers:

• The fundamentals of natural gas;
• Key market structure and processes;
• The roles of the different categories of participants  and other key players in this market, and the inter-relationships between them;
• How trading takes place in the market;
• Settlement of the STTM.

Designed for employees of the gas supply industry wanting a broad understanding of how the STTM works.
