The Total Demand value is the total forecast regional demand (not including dispatchable loads) against which the 5-minute Dispatch solution is performed. For any particular dispatch interval and region, this is determined as: Sum of (scheduled generation + semi scheduled generation) + interconnector Flow into the region – losses + Demand forecast +ADE. (Refer to the AEMO document “Regional Demand Definition” for more details).
