Welcome to the 2010 National Transmission Network Development Plan. These pages contain a full copy of the published document, as well as copies of all supporting data. Below is a small summary of each document available.

NTNDP

This is the main report and can be viewed in either its entirety, or on a chapter by chapter basis. The chapter by chapter section provides supporting information and links to relevant documents for each chapter. Key findings are summarised at the beginning of the report with attachments and glossary at the end. A stand-alone Executive Briefing presents a summary of the background and the key results of the NTNDP.

Glossary

The Glossary contains the expanded names of abbreviations used throughout the document, definitions of commonly used terms and a list of company names used in the document, along with their full company names and ABN numbers.

Supporting Data

The Supporting Data contains information used to produce the results and outcomes stated in the report. The Appendices referred to in the NTNDP contains documents that are only available electronically and not on the printed document. The Input Database holds information used to create the simulations including assumptions and raw data and the Simulation Results holds output information from the simulations.

Interactive Map

Supporting the documentation is an interactive map which shows various information regarding modelled projects, market simulation outputs and other various information. This can be used as a tool to view the entire network on various levels of detail and scenarios. Adobe Flash Player (external link) is required for the interactive map to function.
