The 2011 Gas Statement of Opportunities (GSOO) published by the Australian Energy Market Operator
(AEMO) is the third statement of opportunities for the gas industry.
The GSOO is intended for energy stakeholders and potential gas industry investors. Its purpose
is to inform readers about the current state of the gas industry in Eastern and South Eastern Australia.
The GSOO also highlights potential:

gas system constraints
-
future developments, and
-
opportunities for investment.
The 2011 GSOO incorporates material that was previously published in the Victorian Annual
Planning Review Update. This material relates to the Victorian Gas DTS Medium Term Outlook and is attached
to the GSOO as Attachment A1.
