Independent Expert Report for Directions in Queensland and Victoria
Background
In NEM Communications No. 3232 and 3234 AEMO advised Registered Participants, Intending Registered Participants and Interested Parties that compensation for the directions, which occurred in the Queensland region on 22 and 23 January 2009 and Victoria region on 30 January 2009 were to be determined pursuant to clause 3.15.7A of the National Electricity Rules.
NEMMCO enlisted the services of an Independent Expert to determine the “Fair Payment Price” for the services provided by the Directed Participants.
On 16th July 2009 the Independent Expert’s Draft Report for the determination of compensation for the said directions was published on AEMO’s website and made available for public comment.
Final Report
The Independent Expert’s Final Report for the determination of compensation is now available and is published on AEMO’s website pursuant to clause 3.15.7A(c)(3) of the Rules.
